Welcome to the homepage for the Honors United States History course at Academy of the Canyons Middle College High School. This class is designed to explore our nation’s history from the events leading up to the Revolutionary War through the events of the 1980’s. This class moves at a fast pace and is expected to be work intensive.
The links to the left will discuss various aspects of the class, including homework and grading. Current grades for this class, and other classes taught by Mr. Walker, can be accessed via the web thanks to MicroGrade.
Note taking is an essential skill; for this class and for future classes. For this reason various ways of taking notes will be discussed throughout each semester. Students can review these styles of note taking, and find out new information about taking notes by clicking here.
